The Coordination Committee of the Tordesilhas Group approved the creation of the Tordesilhas Doctoral College (TDC) for Economics, Accounting, and Business on 8 January 2025. This initiative brings together six higher education institutions, including the Polytechnic University of Cávado and Ave (IPCA).

The RUN Discovery Student Academy is a comprehensive mentoring programme coordinated by the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV).

This is the first international PhD programme awarded by IPCA, in partnership with the Polytechnic University of Leiria (IPL) and the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) in Ireland, within the framework of the European University RUN-EU.

Applications for the Portuguese as a Foreign Language course at the IPCA’s Language Centre are open until November 5th.

The RUN-EU General Assembly and Students Week has finished today in Dornbirn, Austria. This year's event was hosted by the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV) and brought together over 200 members, including students, lecturers, staff, and associate partners from the eight institutions within the alliance.

This week was full of activities within IPCA's SAPs Research Challenge in partnership with TUS.

In its ongoing effort to promote a variety of internationalisation activities, IPCA held the 3rd edition of International Week - InWeek, which took place on the IPCA campus last week, from 20 to 24 May 2024.

To celebrate the World Poetry Day and World Book Day, wich take place during March and April, the IPCA Library is currently running a poetry contest until April 30th.

IPCA was the host of the 3rd Meeting of Portuguese Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in European University Alliances, which was attended by 37 representatives of universities and polytechnics, as well as by the Director of the National Erasmus+ Agency, Prof Ana Cristina Perdigão.

After the RUN-EU 2.0 kick-off meeting in January, the planning of activities for the new four-year funding cycle continues.
