RUN-EU General Assembly in Dornbirn, Austria

The RUN-EU General Assembly and Students Week has finished today in Dornbirn, Austria. This year's event was hosted by the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV) and brought together over 200 members, including students, lecturers, staff, and associate partners from the eight institutions within the alliance.

Throughout the week, students participated in five SAP Challenges, addressing topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Circular Economy, and Renewable Energies. This experience strengthened the spirit of cooperation, aiming to foster innovation, internationalisation, and collaboration among the partner institutions.

In parallel, several meetings and workshops took place across the various fields that make up RUN-EU. Today, Friday 6th September, the activities ended in the 2024 General Assembly – “The Future Starts Now”. The delegation from IPCA, led by President Maria José Fernandes, took an active part in all aspects of the event, particularly in the three areas co-led by IPCA – Education, Research, and Mobility.

The student Ana Rita Gomes Freitas was elected Chair of the RUN-EU Student Chair, marking a significant milestone in her journey and IPCA’s contribution to the network.
It was also announced that the next General Assembly and Students Week will be hosted by IPCA in autumn 2025.
