Teaching and non-teaching staff IN

Staff mobility can be carried out by any type of higher education teaching and non-teaching staff or by guest staff from outside the HEI. In order to guarantee the high quality and maximum impact of mobility, the activities to be carried out should be related to professional development and address learning and personal development needs.

Every year IPCA welcomes teaching and non-teaching staff from partner institutions for teaching and training mobility.

Mobility periods for teaching can take place during any period of the year that are planned to take place within the dates of IPCA’s academic calendar. Mobility requests should be sent by e-mail to the International Relations Office – gri@ipca.pt.

After analysis by the mobility coordinator of the respective school, the IRO will ensure the procedures inherent to the mobility’s formalisation (signing documents, sending information, etc.).

In order to optimise resources and the experience of participants on training mobility, IPCA organises the InWeeK – International Networking Week @IPCA – every year. This international training week aims to offer an enriching international and intercultural learning experience as well as the opportunity for exchange and discussion of emerging themes for both international participants and IPCA’s academic community. The agenda includes interactive group sessions, workshops and group work aimed at strengthening international cooperation, encouraging the sharing of knowledge, good practices and experiences.

This is also an excellent occasion to promote Internationalisation at Home, providing truly international moments such as the Market Place during which international participants present their institutions and countries to IPCA’s community.

Information about InWeek and how to apply is available on the platform  IMOTION.
