The Merit + Scholarships are a cash award for students with the highest average marks in eligible courses.

Professional Higher Technical Courses (CTeSP):
– Mobile applications
– Digital Audiovisual
– Web and Multimedia Development
– Renewable Energy and Sustainable Systems
– Network Management and Advanced Communications
– Food innovation and culinary arts
– Digital marketing and social media
– Sustainable moulding of bioplastics
– Collaborative Robotics and Industrial Intelligence
– Security and Privacy for Information Systems
– Computing and Innovation
– Advanced Construction Technologies
Degree Programmes:
– Audiovisual Design
– Information Systems Engineering
– Electrical and Computer Engineering
– Digital Games Development Engineering
Master’s programmes:
– Industrial Engineering and Management
– Applied Artificial Intelligence
Number and value of scholarships
A maximum of 2 scholarships will be awarded for each edition of each course.
The value of the Merit + Scholarships corresponds to the tuition fees of the respective course in the following proportion
– CTeSP: full tuition for one academic year
– Bachelor’s degree: full tuition fees for one academic year
– Master: 50% of the tuition fees for one academic year
Conditions of eligibility
- Valid enrolment at IPCA on one of the courses eligible for Merit Scholarships + 2.
- Full-time enrolment
- Not to have reached the age of 23 by 31 December of the year in which the course starts.
Selection of beneficiaries
- The ranking of the beneficiaries of the Merit + Scholarships for each course is defined according to the respective ranking list and the final ranking of the candidates for the course.
- The scholarships will be awarded to the students with the highest entry average, in descending order, up to the maximum number of scholarships for the course.
Payment
The scholarship will be paid at the end of each academic year as follows
– CTeSP: 40% at the end of the 1st academic year and 60% at the end of the 2nd academic year.
– Bachelor’s degree: 25% at the end of the 1st academic year; 35% at the end of the 2nd academic year; and 40% at the end of the 3rd academic year.
– Master’s degree: 40% at the end of the 1st academic year and 60% at the end of the 2nd academic year.
Eligibility for the scholarship is subject to the following requirements
– Maintain full-time enrolment in the course;
– Passing all course units.

Payment
The scholarship will be paid after enrolment on the course.
In the event of withdrawal from the course, the scholarship will be refunded according to the following percentage and type of training:
– CTeSP
– 100% of the scholarship if you withdraw in the first academic year;
– 25% of the scholarship if you withdraw in the second academic year.
– Degree programme:
– 100% of the scholarship if you withdraw in the first academic year;
– 50% of scholarship if you withdraw in the second academic year;
– 25% of scholarship if you withdraw in the third academic year.
– Master’s degree:
– 100% of scholarship if you withdraw in the first academic year;
– 20% of scholarship if you withdraw in the second academic year.
