Adult Impulse Scholarships

The Merit + Scholarships are a cash award for students with the highest average marks on entry to the courses eligible for these scholarships.
Eligible courses

Higher vocational technical courses (CTeSP):

– Digital Audiovisual

– Insurance Management

– Digital Marketing and Social Media

– Sustainable Modelling of Bioplastics

– Construction Site Preparation and Management

– Collaborative Robotics and Industrial Intelligence

– Security and Privacy for Information Systems

– Advanced Welding

Postgraduate Programmes:

– Cyber Security and Computer Forensics

– Textile and Fashion Design

– Registration and Notary Law

– FINTECH

– Management of tourist accommodation

– Management of European Funds

Professional Masters:

– Operations Management

– Tax Management

– Management for Executives

– Logistics and Supply Chain Management

– 3D Modelling and Additive Manufacturing

– STEAM Education Support Technologies

Number and value of scholarships

A maximum of 2 scholarships will be awarded for each edition of each course.

The value of the Merit + Scholarships will be equal to the tuition fee for each course in the following proportions

– CTeSP: full tuition for one academic year

– Undergraduate programmes: full tuition fees for one academic year

– Postgraduate programmes: 50% of the tuition fee for one academic year

– Professional Masters: 50% of tuition fees for one academic year

Conditions of eligibility
1. Valid enrolment at IPCA on one of the courses eligible for Merit Scholarships + 2.
2. Full-time enrolment
3. Be over 23 years of age at the time of enrolment.
Selection of beneficiaries
1. The ranking of the beneficiaries of the Merit + Scholarships for each course will be defined according to the respective ranking list and the final ranking of the candidates for the course.
2. The scholarships will be awarded to the students with the highest entry grade average, in descending order, up to the maximum number of scholarships available for each course.
Payment

The scholarship will be paid at the end of each academic year as follows

– CTeSP: 40% at the end of the 1st academic year and 60% at the end of the 2nd academic year.

– Undergraduate programmes: 25% at the end of the 1st academic year; 35% at the end of the 2nd academic year; and 40% at the end of the 3rd academic year.

– Postgraduate programmes: 100% at the end of the course

– Masters: 100% at the end of the course

Eligibility for the scholarship is subject to the following requirements

– Maintain full-time enrolment on the course;

– Passing all course units.
The Women + Scholarships are a financial benefit designed to reduce gender inequalities in STEAM studies and encourage female students to enter these fields.

Payment

In the event of withdrawal from the course, the scholarship will be refunded according to the following percentage and type of training:

– CTeSP

– 100% of the scholarship if you withdraw in the first academic year;

– 25% of the scholarship if you withdraw in the second academic year.

– Postgraduate and Professional Masters

– 100% of the scholarship if you withdraw in the first academic year;
The Employment + Scholarships are a cash benefit designed to promote employability through lifelong learning and to encourage further study.

– Undergraduate programmes: full tuition fees for one academic year

– Postgraduate programmes: full tuition fees for one academic year

– Professional Masters: full tuition fees for one academic year

Eligibility requirements
1. Valid enrolment at IPCA on one of the courses eligible for the Employment + Scholarships.
2. Full-time enrolment
3. Be over 23 years of age at the time of enrolment.
4. Be unemployed, as certified by the relevant authorities (Social Security or IEFP).
Classification of beneficiaries
1. The ranking of the beneficiaries of the Employment Grant + for each course will be determined according to the ranking list and the final order of the candidates for the course.
2. Grants will be awarded to the students with the highest entry average, in descending order, up to the maximum number of grants for each course.
Payment

The scholarship will be paid after enrolment on the course.

In the event of withdrawal from the course, the scholarship will be refunded according to the following percentage and type of training:

– CTeSP: 100% at the end of the 1st academic year and 25% at the end of the 2nd academic year.

– Undergraduate degree: 100% at the end of the 1st academic year; 50% at the end of the 2nd academic year; and 25% at the end of the 3rd academic year.

– Postgraduate and Professional Masters: 100% at the end of the course
