The Board of Trustees is composed of five personalities of high merit and professional experience in the fields of science, economics, culture, international relations and scientific and technological innovation, recognised as particularly relevant for this purpose, appointed by the Government on the proposal of the General Council.
The term of office of the Trustees is five years, renewable once only, and they cannot be removed from office without just cause.
