The student is the main focus of IPCA, which accompanies students and alumni throughout their academic and professional careers.
Talent and Careers is a kind of “student’s guide” that accompanies you from the moment you enter our academy until you make the transition to the labour market in a guided and sustainable way.
Talent and Careers is part of the intervention area of the Employment, Entrepreneurship and Business Liaison Office (G3E).

IPCA Career Centre - Job Portal
IPCA has a job portal – IPCA CAREER CENTER – created in partnership with JobTeaser – a leading European company in career guidance and management and talent recruitment – with the aim of increasing the employability potential of our students and alumni and strengthening the collaborative relationship between the business/industry and IPCA.
This is another guidance tool designed for the IPCA community.

The challenge is on and the next edition is waiting for you!
What is the IPCA Management Challenge?
It’s a real business simulation in which the different teams have to define strategies and establish interactions between the different areas of the company (Human Resources, Finance, Production and Marketing & Sales).
Each team receives information about the simulation, the manual and the history of the company to be managed.
After analysing these elements, they have to define a strategic action plan for the future (the next 5 quarters, corresponding to 5 decisions in the simulation).
The 5 decisions will be made online over 5 weeks (1 decision per week).
Career mentors
At this stage of transition to the labour market, there is a network of mentors who provide students with career guidance and advice, helping them to make informed decisions about their career goals and develop a plan to achieve them.
A comprehensive programme that goes further to help students expand their professional networks by connecting them with better mentors who can offer guidance and advice on the area they want to work in, as well as other professionals in the same field.
A network of Business Career Mentors will soon be available to match the needs of the market with the talent that IPCA helps to develop.
Grow Your Skills Up - Job and Training Fair
The IPCA Job Fair is the institutional moment to bring together job seekers and employers with the aim of increasing the employability potential of our students and alumni and strengthening the relationship of cooperation between the business/industry and IPCA.
It aims to create a complementary space for interaction, exposing the community to the realities of the labour market, while at the same time providing companies with a more in-depth view of the skills acquired by students on IPCA’s various study cycles and courses.
In addition to promoting employability, this event is also a time for training in various areas related to employability and entrepreneurship.
GrowUp | IPCA Job Fair or Grow Your Skills Up, Job and Training Fair in Barcelos was born with the same aim of creating conditions that enhance the employability and skills of students and alumni.
