The students were welcomed by the President of IPCA, Maria José Fernandes and by the Vice-President for Internationalization, Communication and Culture, Paula Tavares.
In addition to the exchange students, the President of the IPCA Academic Association, Mariana Lima, the President of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), the IPCA buddies (national students who welcome international students on exchange) and members from the RUN-EU Student Advisory Board (SAB) also participated actively in this session, sharing their experiences and supporting these new students with their integration into the IPCA community.
The new students arrived from several countries in Europe, as well as Jordan and Turkey, all with the same objective: to have a wonderful experience at IPCA.
At the end of the welcome session, students also had the opportunity to get to know the Campus and the city of Barcelos, within the scope of the Orientation Program promoted by the International Relations Office (GRI).
The Orientation Program is carried out every semester to make new mobility students aware of IPCA, providing them with all relevant information in order to facilitate their stay and the academic integration process.
